Integra Technologies Participates in Manufacturing Day

Last month, Integra Technologies, BlueHalo, Computer Aided Technology, MicroNet Solutions, QC Group, an IIA Company, and SolAero Technologies participated in Manufacturing Day, sponsored by the New Mexico Manufacturing Extension Partnership. The companies gave presentations and facility tours to 40 students from the Technology Leadership High School, also located in the Park. The purpose of this annual event is to introduce students to careers in manufacturing and highlight local companies and the people working in the manufacturing industry.

Rachel Garcia, PQA Lab Director for Integra, started Manufacturing Day in 2018 to expose local high school seniors to the career opportunities in the STEM field. She organizes open houses with local STEM companies in the area to provide tours and presentations to students. Rachel finds it important to give back to her community and help encourage local students to expand their career choices. Read more about this year's event.
