TEST ENGINEER, RF AND MIXED SIGNAL - KS

Position Summary:
Utilize strong understanding of current RF, analog and mixed signal semiconductor test methods in order to plan, design and evaluate projects in collaboration with internal and external customers to ensure that all specifications are met to customer satisfaction while meeting organization requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop software to test integrated circuits using automated test equipment or lab equipment. 
  • Design test hardware and determine methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products. 
  • Confer with production and sales departments to determine engineering feasibility and cost effectiveness for test programs. 
  • Coordinate with customers to ensure that test program meets all specifications.
  • Manage test development schedules on multiple projects while providing effective mentorship and training to junior engineers. 
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required. 

Experience:

  • Fifteen years of developing automated test solutions for RF and mixed signal integrated circuits in a semiconductor manufacturing environment required.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing IC test solutions on automated test equipment such as Teradyne/Verigy/LTX-Credence platforms.
  • Benchtop RF test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Power Meters required.
  • Test program development of mixed signal integrated circuits including DAC/ADC circuit blocks preferred

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Must possess a strong ability to: 
    • Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office and other computer products and programs.  
    • Utilize knowledge of programming techniques, electronic, test equipment, and test specifications to develop test programs to a set schedule. 
    • Make recommendation for new tester platforms and work with vendors to generate tester configurations for new projects. 
    • Utilize knowledge of programming techniques, electronic, test equipment, and test specifications to develop test programs to a set schedule. 
    • Program manage individual test developments from initial stage to completion while accurately reporting status to all stakeholders. 
    • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers and stakeholders. 
    • Mentor and train junior engineers.  Provide ongoing guidance and leadership to ensure success in their roles.
