Students who are graduating in 2012 or 2013, preferred.

Job Summary

  • Utilizes and applies the principles and theories of science, engineering, and mathematics to solve technical problems. Design and develop test programs, conduct tests and collects data by performing the following duties.
  • Develop test program for testing electronic components and design test hardware
  • Calculate and record test results, devise and run tests to ensure product quality.
  • Record test results, make computations, and analyze results
  • Coordinate with engineering, customer service, production and shipping department to implement fulfillment of customer’s needs.
  • Build test hardware from design schematics

Qualifications – United States Citizenship is Required

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performance each essential duty satisfactorily. In addition, individual must have the following abilities:

  • Ability to reach, grasp and maintain control of items and material used to perform testing.
  • Ability to see and identify bent leads up to 0.004 inches out of tolerance. Excellent eyesight is required.
  • Ability to utilize effective communication skills to achieve required results.
  • Ability to lift test floor equipment weighing 5 lbs or above (i.e. totes, load boards, hand test table, moving tanks)
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to use time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a timely manner.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to effectively interface with other departments to obtain, verify or provide information.
  • Ability to explicitly follow very specific directions and routines.
